Fifi Box sets the record straight on Las Vegas wedding at Adeles concert

Fifi Box has set the record straight after teasing a photo of herself wearing a wedding dress in Las Vegas.

While there was talk she may have married her new boyfriend, Rocky Mangano, after a whirlwind romance, it appears the wedding dress was not for Box’s nuptials but rather a challenge for her radio program, Fifi, Fev & Nick.

Broadcasting from Sin City with co-hosts Brendan Fevola and Nick Cody, Box told listeners tickets to the Adele concerts at the Colosseum in Caesars Palace were hard to lock down.

So when producers gave her and Fevola two tickets to the show, there was a catch.

“The only way we were able to get these tickets is if we can somehow get Adele to talk to us,” she said on air.

“So I’m in a costume and my aim is for her to say, ‘Oh, you got married today?’ And if she walks past and doesn’t care, then it’s a massive fail and I just look like an idiot.”

Box explained the plan was to show up in bridal wear, complete with veil and bouquet, and pretend she and Fevola came straight from the chapel.

She even held up a sign that read: “I walked down the aisle to your song today.”

“I was looking like a bride because we do know that in all of her concerts, she speaks to people who have been married,” said Box, who added she received many congratulatory messages from randoms while wearing the wedding gown.

But it was Adele’s attention she wanted the most.

“We got to the part of the concert where she then comes through the crowd and that was a moment to strike,” Box said. “I wore the wedding dress, I had the veil on, I had the bouquet, we had a sign.”

“I went to great lengths but I’m going to point out this out the mission was to get Adele to speak to us and she said – looked me in the eye – ‘Congratulations’ I even got that ‘Oi, oi’.”

Earlier in Adele’s show, the singer gave a shout out to the England soccer team who last night was playing the final against Spain in the FIFA Women’s World Cup, held in Australia.

“Remember at the start when I yelled out ‘Aussie, Aussie, Aussie. Oi, oi, oi’, when she was asking if anyone was from Australia because the World Cup was in Australia?” Fevola chimed in.

“I reckon she saw your veil when I said that and she would’ve seen me and I reckon she’s gone, ‘Oi, oi’ because she knew we were Australian. Why else would she say ‘Oi, oi’? It’s a weird thing to say.”
