A week after listing a famous Fairhaven beach house amid more than $30m in high-end homes around Victoria, Boost Juice founder Janine Allis has revealed the luxurious lifestyle on offer within.

Initially listed without interior photos, the business guru’s Fairhaven home at 310 Great Ocean Road, Fairhaven, — which featured in the 1979 film Mad Max — is now fully on display with the family’s 9 Whernside Avenue, Toorak, home.

The Shark Tank and Survivor star has listed the famous beachfront home with a $10.8m-$11.8m price tag.

The luxury pad, at 310 Great Ocean Road, featured as Max Rockatansky’s hide-out in the original 1979 Mad Max movie and is one of only two properties in Fairhaven on the beach side of the Great Ocean Road.

Once just a shack in the dunes, it’s since been transformed into a five-bedroom, six-bathroom hideaway with a swimming pool, direct beach access and spectacular views over Fairhaven Beach and Split Point lighthouse.

Ms Allis said the family had made the difficult decision to sell the much-loved coastal retreat, and their $20m Toorak base, to relocate to NSW’s northern beaches.

She purchased the 3000sqm property for $1.1m in 2000.

Despite a major renovation five years ago that introduced natural timber cladding and a solid concrete interior, she said it would forever be known as the Mad Max house.

Great Ocean Properties, Aireys Inlet agent Marty Maher said the house had arguably the best position on Victoria’s west coast, with private beach access and Crown land on three sides.

The tri-level home offers stunning vistas from the open-plan living area and main bedroom suite on the upper level.

Multiple decks provide options for summer entertaining, while a private, north-facing swimming pool is on hand should you tire of the beach.

Kids have the run of the two lower levels, where there are four further bedrooms, three with ensuites, a media room and a huge games room with a kitchenette.
